The Jesus Film
On May 2, 2009, the Lord FILLED a theater in Indianapolis, IN for our first free screening.
With virtually no funds and with a small group of volunteers in Austin, the Lord gave great increase. The area's largest Christian radio station interviewed an employee from The JESUS Film Project. We asked RSVP's from only groups of 6+, and filled a little less than half the large theater with those. Individuals and small groups packed the theater; how exciting to put the Good News in front of nearly 300 people!
The vision to have free Christian films all across the U.S.; the first Saturday of each month.

The Vision for God Is Working Here Project
In January, 2009, Joe Pelayo felt an urging from the Lord to see if he could arrange for The Jesus Film to be shown in all theaters in Austin, Texas for free. Christian Business Network agreed to help him implement this project. Before the month was up, the Lord had encouraged him to call all the CEO's of all major national theater chains, to see if they would consider screening The Jesus Film for free in their facilities.
Goodrich Quallity Theaters, Inc., responded with immediate interest and set May 2, 2009 as the date for their first screening, to be held in Noblesville, a surburb of Indianapolis, IN. Several other theater chain responded positively, and are considering showing The Jesus Film. On May 2, with virtually no funds, and a group of less than 20 volunteers in Austin, TX, the Lord gave great increase... the theater of 270 seats was PACKED! (The JESUS film had graciously provided DVD's in case we had overflow and had to turn people away; but God brought an exact fit!
The vision is for all theater complexes in the USA to show a transformational Christian film, for free, on the first Saturday of each month.
